With over 1,000 vegan breweries in the world and a variety of non-meat options available at almost all restaurants, it’s safe to say that Boulder is one of the most animal friendly cities on Earth.
The question: Is there any beer made by New Belgium Brewing Company which does not contain beef?
New Belgium Brewing Co., Inc. has been producing beer since 1989. They make some beers without using meat because they are vegetarian or vegan (e.g Lentils for Love). However, other beers have live yeast cultures used during production and these cannot be fermented without use of animal products like gelatin or rennet (vegan alternatives exist but are more costly).
